The pilot Rizla Suzuki John Hopkins, domed PUIG, brought his Suzuki GSV-R to a sensational 10 th final position in Jerez, in his first race in MotoGP since 2008.
Hopkins came 14th, he did well, and moved places in the first round . When the group was stabilized with 5 other riders rolled fighting for 8th place, and were exchanging positions as the race progressed. A little to the end, Hopkins had serious grip problems and lost so hard won, but was able to at least continue the struggle and recover, while others also had problems. Hopkins flew gently in the closing laps to secure a deserved 10th place final for Rizla Suzuki.
