Ducati completes its second day of testing at Jerez

Vittoriano Guareschi and Franco Battaini on Tuesday continued during trials with the Desmosedici GP11 at the Andalusian circuit. The test ends today with the third and final day.

Vittoriano Guareschi and Franco Battaini completed yesterday the second day of testing with the new prototype Ducati MotoGP in Jerez de la Frontera. The weather conditions forced them to postpone until noon the beginning of the session. Guareschi finished completing 59 laps and racked up 66 Battaini turns.

“We started the test at one o’clock in the morning because it was foggy, as usual, ” said Guareschi, Ducati Team Manager. “In the afternoon improved, the sun came out and were able to complete a number of turns. I have worked on the chassis while Battaini continued with electronics. I worked hard on the suspension, along with Mike Norton, Ohlins technician who is with Valentino and has used this test to become familiar with the work on the GP11. Franco has made progress in its work with the anti-wheelie control so for the moment, everything is progressing as planned. “
