Aftermath of the command given to succumb to Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso at the German GP Sunday (25 / 7),
team principals and Ferrari team manager was summoned by the stewards (Supervisory Competition).
Ferrari did not use explicit words when ordered masses to give victory to Alonso. From the sound of the radio team that played in a live television show German GP, Massa gets information like this: “OK, Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood That message?” (OK, Fernando faster than you. Can you confirm that you understand the message?). Radio team sent by the race Massa engineer, Rob Smedley on lap 48. One lap later, towards the hairpin, Massa slowed and Alonso took pole position. Before long, Smedley again send a message to the masses with the contents: “Sorry” (Sorry).
Before the command is posted to Mass, on the radio team also heard comments Alonso when he is behind Massa but trouble followed his team mate’s. “This is ridiculous” (This is comical). Although not explicitly ordered the crowd to beat, but it is believed that the sentence pronounced Smedley is a code given to racer team, in this case the masses, had to succumb to his teammate. FIA itself has expressly prohibits all actions that are intended to regulate competition results. In this case, the Ferrari is believed many parties have violated these rules.
